So which social media network is right for your business?
Let’s start the ol’ G we call Facebook.
Facebook is a monster.
It is probably a yes for most businesses who are even considering stepping into the social media arena.
This is the broadest audience to reach when you are building a community online. Although its younger audience may be more interested in sites like Instagram or Pinterest, 70 percent of adults are active on Facebook.
And that is why Facebook is still king. Although it is broad you can also get very targeted with Facebook and will get massive engagement when utilized properly.
This may not be right for you business however, if you cannot find a way to stay creatively native in the environment.
Suit & Tied up with LinkedIn
Ok if you are in a B2B type of industry LinkedIn is a golden nugget for your business.
LinkedIn is optimal for getting in front of other businesses looking for your services. You may also target those looking for jobs.
It is important to stay relevant to industry targeted information. This is also a great place to network with your peers and establish other valuable relationships.
Imagery is highly sought after online and Pinterest is a great way to drive traffic to your business.
Pinterest may be right for your company if your industry is educational, fashionable, helpful, entertaining, travel, gadgets…

If your target audience is women then you should be on Pinterest.
It may be tough for some businesses to think of Pinterest as a valuable social network to be on right now, but Pinterest is awesome if you work it right!
Tweets & Hashtags
Twitter is an amazing platform to be on but is it right for you?
Twitter swings both ways here and you can target both men and women.
The demographic is younger and Twitter is fast paced.
Twitter is great to get information out there with the amazing #hashtag.
Twitter works best when fully engaged in the platform. Although this may seem intimidating to some of you business owners out there, don’t have an anxiety attack over Twitter!
There are many tools out there that can help you automate your Twitter strategy and you will rock! Check out Tweetdeck, Hootsuite and Buffer.
Say Cheese! You’re on Instagram.
As you all know I love Instagram and works like a mesh of Pinterest and Twitter combined with beautiful filters. =)
Ok Instagram is exciting and you can have a lot of fun with it but remember it is not for every business.
Considering you can only upload via your mobile phone or some schedulers, Instagram may be a bit of an inconvenience to some business owners.
Also great with #hashtags you can target your market here. Also consider that you can integrate your Twitter strategy with Instagram and kill two birds one stone. (Do not abuse this.)
If you are utilizing Pinterest you may more then likely benefit from an Instagram account.
