The 80/20 Rule Explained & How it Effects Your Social Media Strategy
What is the 80/20 Rule?
Ok well the 80/20 rule, or better known as Pareto’s Principal or Pareto’s Law, has been around for over a hundred years.
This is not something new and you may be well aware of it, or maybe not.
SO either way, this Rule is very important so we will take a quick run through on how successful brands are utilizing the 80/20 rule successfully.
“Project Managers know that 20 percent of the work (the first 10 percent and the last 10 percent) consume 80 percent of your time and resources. You can apply the 80/20 Rule to almost anything, from the science of management to the physical world.”
This rule should be applied to all of your marketing strategies whether it be on television, radio and yes even on Social Media.
In today’s marketing world, if you are not reaching this audience you are potentially missing out on the successful future of your business and brand.
This is why the 80/20 is more important than ever because people on social media are not there to be sold. There are there to have fun, kick back and see what their friends, family and yes THEIR FAVORITE BRANDS.
People today on social media follow most of their favorite brands and businesses because they love them that much.
You must give to receive and one should always give more to reap the rewards… and so the 80/20 comes center stage to your social media marketing strategy.
I have explained this to many clients before and the formula is quite simple as you see above.
The magic ingredient?
